The Ciccotti Center is committed to the safety and security of our members, their families and our associates, and this is one reason we are taking COVID-19 seriously. Out of an abundance of caution and in conjunction with Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order regarding mass gatherings of over 50 people, the Center is closed, Monday, March 16th and will reopen as soon as the state decides the potential risk has been lowered.
This closure will include all fitness classes, aquatics activities, gym activities, basketball and fitness room use. The Center will be staffed to answer phone calls only. Upon reopening, we will reevaluate membership dues. We do have our normal Bridge policy available. If you would like to bridge your membership, please contact us at (518) 867-8920. All information, and updates, regarding this will be posted here as well as our Facebook page.
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has advised that community-based interventions including social distancing can help to slow the spread of COVID-19. In addition, we should all practice every day prevention measures like frequent hand washing and covering coughs and sneezes. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause but are confident this decision is the right thing to do for the safety of our community.
